I got the keys this morning! I've already done the big important things -- put my magnets on the refrigerator, some ziplock bags in the pantry cupboards, some mountain dew inside the fridge and I hung a towel through the handle on the refrigerator door. They left the house pretty clean but just to put my own touch on it, I dusted and cleaned again - just for fun. I opened the garage door and it's very empty compared to when I last saw it! They even left me a broom! :-)
So - I have made the first two trips. I plan to set up the kitchen first so I can eat there while moving other stuff in. I hardly know what to do first! I'm loving all the storage space!

Um, popcorn?! :-) First things first - I have to decorate! Entertaining comes later. It's weird because there's nowhere to sit right now ... that would make for an awkward dinner!

CleanMED - final day

 Oh boy…this is it!  It just hit me today around 5:30 PM that I actually have to think about what I’m going to cook tomorrow!  It has been SO NICE not needing to think about cooking/preparing food for this past month. I had my moment of panic but I do have one mini reprieve: I never needed use the emergency meals they send you home with on Day 1. They do that in case something happens and you can’t make it in to pick up food. I never needed them so … vegetarian chili is what is for lunch tomorrow! Tomorrow morning I’ll be trying to remember how to scramble eggs and where I put all my stuff for doing that!  ðŸ¤ª Tomorrow morning are my final measurements and my final labs. I’m really excited to see the results and hope they continue to be going in the right direction.  Fingers crossed! 🤞 Instant gratification has been pretty nice, seeing changes after just 2-3 weeks, but I understand with more time they will continue to improve if I stick with it. iCooked Hooray - I got my cooking project done!  It took the better part of the day and I was proud that I only had to make 2 extra trips to the Safeway store down the street!  I'll skip the details. Anyhow, over the next month or week or whatever, I'll have lots of food essentially ready for me when I come home!  I hope I like how it tastes!  It can't help but beat running to the grocery store 2-3+ times a week and wandering around aimlessly until I wind up in the frozen section once again eating stuff I don't really like but settle for due to the fact it takes 8 minutes to heat up. Today I made Mexican Lasagne, White Chicken Chili, Chicken Nuggets, Marinated Flat Iron Steak, Swedish Meatballs, Pork Chops, French Bread Pizza, Texas Skillet, and Chicken Scalloppinne something-or-other.  I'll keep you posted on how it all works out.
