Anybody wanna go traveling? I've got a couple stretches of time off and feel like going somewhere but don't feel like going alone.

Do I WANT to go? Yes, very much! But I guess that would require some time off on my part (besides that reserved for convention in a couple weeks) and someone to step in and help take care of my household during my time away... so I guess I will just dream and wait for pictures of your adventures. Sigh... Actually, I will just enjoy the beautiful fall weather here and my lovely family, too!

I want to go to NYC the weekend before Thanksgiving and look at all the big store windows decorated for Christmas and whatever else there's time for. I have 4 days off and I don't want to waste them!

Opinion time!! Okay - so here's my debate .... daybed vs twin bed. It's for my extra room that's currently an office/sporting good storage/second closet. I hear daybeds are hard to make - any opinions or tips on that? Just thinking that maybe my lack of extra beds is the reason why visitors are so few and far between. If you have any other opinions or ideas as to why that might be - keep those to yourself - this is just open forum on which kind of bed to get! ;-) smirk
